One free adult chaperone per group of 5 or more students. Only one free chaperone per group.
Fees include lodging, ground transportation, breakfast and lunch daily, first and last evening dinners, fees, field supplies, curriculum presentations, and other activities. All rooms are multiple occupancy. There are no private rooms available during the field schools.

Alternative forms of payment are available. Please contact us for alternative payment arrangements. Full payment must be received by May 31, 2023 to ensure your participation in the program. Any reservations not paid in full by May 31, 2023 will be cancelled, without prior payment arrangements with ADVENTURE 360, with no refunds of any payments made.
If you fly:
Staff will meet you at the Billings International Airport and will return you to the airport at the end of your adventure. Please schedule your arrival flights before 1:00 pm on your arrival date. Staff will arrive and meet you at the bottom of the escalators across from the restrooms between 12:30 and1:00 pm. We will then proceed to the airport restaurant for lunch (not provided in fees)
Please schedule all return flights after 1:00 pm on your return date.
If you drive:
Plan to arrive at the Garfield Motel in Jordan, Montana by 5:00 pm on the first day of your program. The first organized activity will be the orientation group dinner at the Summit Corral at 6:00 pm.
Students, get a jumpstart on your science careers by spending a week in the badlands of Montana with our experts! But that's just the beginning. You will also investigate the region's geology, paleontology, stratigraphy, erosion, fossil identification, mapping and GPS use, geologic time, regional history, fossilization processes, education requirements, career opportunities and much, much more.
Aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards, the Paleo X Field School provides students with real field experiences and learning opportunities that are invaluable in their preparation for university-level classes. The program is designed for middle school students through college students.
University credit (1 hour geoscience) for the Paleo X Field School is offered through Emporia State University for participating students who are entering their freshman year of high school and older.
University credit (1 hour earth science) is available for current university or college students through Southeast Missouri State University.
Graduate credit (3 hours) for educators is offered through Webster University.
